Yes. CBD products are safe and should not contain more that .3% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). CBD is not intended for use by persons under 21 years old, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. It is recommended that your doctor or medical professional be consulted before using CBD products. Please refer to the on-pack labeling instructions for proper dosage instructions.
Basically, we have an endocannabinoid system within us that can process both cannabinoids (made from plants, like cannabis) and endocannabinoids (made from within our bodies). The result is different effects like a balancing of chemicals, mood, or even things like pain reduction and anxiety reduction. We are still discovering a lot about this complex bodily system and how it works. Source: CBD School
For beginners, start by taking a single small dose of CBD daily for about one week before reassessing and increasing your dose. It’s important to remember that when you increase your dose, do so gradually.
CBD is federally legal within the United States. The Farm Bill of 2018 legalized CBD, and other cannabinoids as long as they didn’t contain and THC content over 0.3%. That said, every state follows their own laws in regards to CBD products. Almost all states, though, follow the federal guidelines. Check this state by state guide on CBD laws to be sure that your state is CBD friendly. Source: CBD School

The effects of CBD oil will vary from person to person. With an oral spray or dropper, the effects are usually noticed within 30 minutes to an hour and can last up to six hours depending on the dose administered.

CBD can come from both hemp and marijuana. These two plants are actually identical except for one thing “THC content”. Hemp plants must, by law, contain less than 0.3% THC. Marijuana, on the other hand, can contain far more THC – there really is no limit. Hemp-derived CBD products are the types of CBD items that are federally legal. Marijuana-derived CBD products, unless legalized in your state for recreational use, are still a controlled substance. All CBD products for sale online are going to be hemp-derived CBD. Understanding third-party testing of CBD products and labeling accuracy is very important. First, double-check that the CBD and THC concentrations on the Certificate of Analysis (COA) match what is stated on the product label. Second, the Cannabinoid profile is very important. If your product is full- or broad-spectrum, look for a list of cannabinoids and other compounds. Additionally, the lab charts are your friend. Look for heavy-metal and pesticide analysis, as well.
The endocannabinoid system in the body is responsible for regulating sleep, appetite, anxiety and pain. CBD binds to part of the body’s endocannabinoid receptors to boost the body’s production of its own cannabinoids. Source: Open Access to Government
The term “entourage effect” has been used to describe the synergistic manner in which the more than 80 cannabinoids and 100+ terpenes work together to produce the medicinal benefits that CBD is widely recognized for. When the separate components in cannabis stand alone, they aren’t nearly as effective as they are when combined together. Hence the term “entourage” which means a group of people surrounding and supporting another main individual is a good way to think about this relationship. Source: WayofLeaf
To extend shelf life, it is best to store your CBD product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will keep the hemp extract for as long as possible (you can even store it in the fridge!). If stored under the right conditions, CBD oil can have a shelf life of two years or even longer.

CBD products are available is Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Isolate formulations.
Full Spectrum CBD may contain up to .3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid in the cannabis plant the produces the ‘high’ feeling or psychoactive effect. However, due to the low amount of THC traces present in Full Spectrum CBD it is not strong enough to have significant psychoactive effects if taken in recommended dosages.
Broad Spectrum CBD does not contain THC. It does contain other components of the cannabis plant, so it won’t be 100% CBD.
CBD isolate is a pure form of CBD. It contains no other cannabis plant compounds except for CBD itself.

CBD products should be stored in a dry place at room temperature.
Yes. CBD can be helpful with stress and anxiety during the day, or for that matter anytime. While THC delivers plenty of therapeutic benefits, its psychoactive effects make it less than ideal for use in daily lifestyle activities especially when you need to be focused at work, or driving an automobile. The term “Delta-9” is short for Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, and is a cannabinoid molecule from the cannabis plant. It’s also the primary psychoactive ingredient in cannabis plants, which means it can lead to feelings of euphoria or a high when you consume it in a variety of products like confectionery, inhalants, and tinctures. Naked Roots CBD products contain <0.3% of THC which is federally compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill.

THC-related products can be confusing however we can you determine which one is right for you. If you are thinking about trying Delta-8 or Delta-9, it might be helpful to know the differences between both the two to help you make an informed decision.

Cannabis growers find Delta-9 THC in abundance in cannabis plants, and it’s explicitly derived from marijuana as a major cannabinoid. However, Delta-8 THC is a minor cannabinoid, and very little of it is produced naturally. As a result, many manufacturers synthesize it from CBD, and most of it comes from hemp. The majority of Delta-8 has concentrations of Delta-9 THC lower than 0.3%, making it federally legal.

First, everyone’s bodies are different, which means the time it takes for Delta-9 THC gummies to kick in can vary from person to person. It is advised that you refer to the packaging of the product or consult with a subject matter expert to gain insight into what you can expect from your experience. Most people notice effects within 90 to 120 minutes of consuming a gummy, but that timeframe may vary depending on your weight, diet, and food intake during that time window.

It can be tempting to consume more than one Delta-9 gummy. However, you might be questioning how many you gummies you can consume without being negatively impacted during your experience.

It is recommend  that your consume half a gummy or 5 mg of Delta-9 THC for first-time users and between one and a half and two gummies for more seasoned users who are familiar with the effects and know how long they last. If you’re unsure how many you should be taking each day or in a single dosage, it is recommended that you talk to your preferred Delta-9 THC specialist for more information.

While there can be a lot to learn before trying Delta-9 products for the first time, you might be surprised by how straightforward the learning experience is.

How long the effects of Delta-9 last can depend on many factors, including how much you’ve had and the type of product you consumed. However, studies have shown that one marijuana cigarette with 9 mg of THC might produce after-effects for around 45 minutes.

A dosing interval of one hour has the potential to lead to a continuous high with recovery of approximately 150 minutes after the last marijuana cigarette or joint. Dosage and dosing intervals could impact the timeframe for feeling the effects of THC.

THC and CBD products help people relax and support sleep. However, Delta-9 has the opposite effect. While this cannabinoid stimulates the brain to cause a high, it might also help you feel relaxed and drowsy. As everyone’s experience with Delta-9 THC is unique to them, you might notice that you feel more tired or not at all.

CBD helps to relax your body and mind, and has been shown to provide relief from inflammation, discomfort, and anxiety. In combination with Melatonin, it can act as a powerful natural sleep aid while providing multiple other benefits to your overall physical and mental health.

Melatonin is a natural hormone that has a central role in your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle. In the same way that your body produced endocannabinoids to regulate homeostasis, it also produces the hormone melatonin.

THC and CBD are currently the two most popular cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. However, with over 100 cannabinoids in the hemp plant, you’ll find several other beneficial compounds such as CBN (cannabinol).

CBN is a non-intoxicating compound. Studies have shown that CBN can induce a sedative effect, prolong sleep time, and works best in synergy with other cannabinoids and terpenes. Using a product with the proper balance of cannabinoids and terpenes will prepare your body and mind for rest.
